Can a Youtube video grow my home base business or MLM?

April 30th, 2010 by ToolGuy

http://www.TheNetworkBuilders.com Can Youtube video build my MLM or home base business? What about using my Blackberry camera or cheap handicam to promote network marketing and make money.

Are you using video yet?
Are you using the power of video to promote your business yet? It is easy to do and the payoff is huge. Video is quickly replacing articles on the web. Life if moving at an all-time fast pace and people do not have the time to read long articles. As it is now if an article is not broken up into short paragraphs where the first line of each gets the idea across, people jump to another site to find the information. Yahoo understands this and uses video for the daily news on the home page. People like to watch and listen.
You need to learn how to create an online video account and you need to start uploading to it if you want to promote your business.
Here is why, video ranks faster than any other media right now. The algorithms Google uses to do this are a mystery to me but good, original content seems to have a lot to do with it. Like your social media posts and written articles, relevance is key. Remember what’s working and that is to give good information that people are looking for freely. It is content over the quality that counts. So start with your blackberry or the video camera you have now. Kodak has one for under $200 that has green screen capability and can use a condenser mike.

This is how to start. Go to Youtube and sign up for a free account. Decide what you are going to promote now. You do not want video of the office party showing up with you MLM videos. Then film some short videos promoting something useful. Remember you want to add value to people rather than pitch your company up front. Maybe give a review of a new product you offer or a tip to save some time with you site. Have fun and enjoy your new venture.
One caution though, what is uploaded to the internet is there forever. Even if you delete it from your Youtube account. If just on person uploaded it will be out there. Think before you push the upload button.

I like to edit my videos to add a title page, a watermark and a call to action page at the end. That lets viewers know what to do next, like visit a web site or sign up for a news letter. The results will take a while to see but if you use the right keywords and promote well the results will astound you. Check out MLMmatchmaker on you tube for some examples of what you should aim for.

Success to you,

Your home business, Mike Dillard s Magnetic Sponsoring system.

April 22nd, 2010 by ToolGuy

http://www.TheNetworkBuilders.com Is your home base business growing? Does Mike Dillard s magnetic sponsoring help? Traffic Formula 2.0 is explained in this article. Find out how to grow your MLM.

What is Mike Dillard s Traffic Formula secret?

Everyone has a web site these days If you do not click here.GoDaddy.com – World’s No.1 Domain Name Registrar but the problem is that even if you register a snappy name and build a nice looking site, it is an island in the middle of the internet ocean. What good is a web site if no one knows that it is there. You need to build bridges to that site, a lot of bridges that come in from every direction. The more bridges, the more signs point to your web site. The idea is to rank high on a Google search. A page has to list on the first page of a search or no one will find it. Think about it for a minute, how many pages in do you go on a search. The average is one or two and the most is three. Be aware of the numbers we are talking about by looking at the number of hits a keywork has next time. A million hits is not much and sometimes it is hundreds of millions.

So, how do you get your page to the top of all that? Mike Dillard developed a very good system. The concept is outlined in Magnetic Sponsoring and the blue print is in his Traffic Formula. This is how it works. The system starts by you creating a blog and getting it hosted. I use WordPress and self host it but GoDaddy is good too. Then write useful, relevant content in short articles. Those articles are submitted to various other blogs, social media sites and article sites. The trick is to do keyword research and find those words that your audience is going to search for. It sounds harder than it is but you can do it with a bit of work on your end.

But what if you are using Dillards system and not getting the results you want. Go back and do your keyword search and make sure there are not too many other listings or localize your search. In the next article I will talk about the use of videos to promote your site and how it is done. Keep charging onward, success is closer than you think.

Is your home base business convention worth the money?

April 21st, 2010 by ToolGuy

http://www.TheNetworkBuilders.com Is your home base business convention worth the money? Does your mlm opportunity have conventions? Sometimes it pays to go if you want to earn money online.

Is your convention worth the money?

A question that is asked around every convention is, Is it worth it? The answer is Yes. Let me tell you why going to your convention can be so profitable for you. The way your sell is based on your belief level. The way you think about your product or service, the way youu think about network marketing and how you feel when you are talking to a prospect.

That will all increase after you attend your convention. When you open th eballroom doors and walk in the first thing that strikes you is all the people. I have attended conventions in the Superdome and in convention centers. When you see thousands of members of your business it leaves an inpression. The first one I attended had 5000 people there, the guy next to me turned, looked around the room and said, They all said Yes didn t they? I realized at that first meeting the power of the convention.

Thousands of people attending, hundreds crossing stage as a new something or other and I needed to find 5 or 6 to make $100,000 !!! I knew then that I could succeed in my company.  The information about the services the corperation was adding built my belief very high. When I arrived back home and a prospect told me how it was a pyramid or it would not work, I knew they were wrong. Not doubting yourself or your company can make you bullet proff. That gets you to offer your program to more people and keep going in the face of rejection.

The last thing about the convention was the people crossing the stage. Now I say this with great respect, but alot of them did not look all that sharp. I knew if they could do it so could I. Not going to that first convention would have cost me tens of thousands of dollars. But what about the cost? A convention with airfare can easily cost $1000. Budget for it like you are running a real company. You are, so treat your business like it. To get the most out of the time there I recommend staying in the convention. At breaks hang around and make a point to meet the top money earners. Introduce yourself and listen to their stories. If you do what they did, you will have what they have.

How many times should I call back?

April 19th, 2010 by ToolGuy

A question I get from active business owners in the Network Marketing industry is, how many times do I call back for the follow up? If you are calling back after nothing more than an introductory call, I suggest my “two call rule”. Two call backs, leave a message on the second call, something like; “Hi Bob this is Joe getting back to you with the information you asked for last week. It seems like the timing is not right for you. Call me back at 973-519-1851 if anything changes.”Then cross them off of your list.

Some people will suggest that you put them in a “call back in three months pile”, that is ok too. The key point here is not to be needy and to come from a position of power and leadership. What makes this easier is if you really do have a large names list or if you have a lead generation system in place. When your lead system is producing 20-40 leads a day you really do not need any one person. That is the ironic part of the story. The less you need any one person, the more people will get into your business.

Stop chasing people. Think of the story of the hunter and the fisherman. The hunter goes out into the field and stalks his prey. He sneaks up on his target, if he has a clear shot, he takes it and BANG…death. The fisherman goes out to the water, maybe with a cup of coffee in his hand. He talks to other fishermen, laughs and has a good time. Then when he is ready he puts some bait out, moves it around a bit and waits for the fish to come to him. Offer something to your prospect that he is interested in. More time, more money perhaps. Let him know you may have something that he can benefit from and present it in a tantalizing way. Then see if he is interested or not. I puts you in charge of your business. And lastly, remember that if you catch a fish that you don’t like. Throw it back, there are plenty more out there.

Do home based business really work?

April 16th, 2010 by ToolGuy

 Network Marketing Works!

Donald Trump started his own Direct Sales Company. Warren Buffet bought a few and so did other Millionaires. Why? It has a proven distribution system that works. The customers are loyal to a brand and the passion a new distributor has is unmatched. A sales person at a traditional job is working for a paycheck. A new Independent Marketer is chasing the dream. It is more than the money. It is recognition and being seen as a success in the eyes of his family. It is the excitement of starting a business you call your own.

I have been in the Network Marketing and Direct Sales industry for over fourteen years. The income has enabled my wife to retire at age 39 and I have retired at age 46. I have been on stages around the country and spoke in front of thousands of people. It is a feeling like no other. Being with like minded people, sometimes 5000 at a time, all thinking the same and wanting YOU to succeed! Who wants to go back to the whiners after that? Once you see how close you are to having everything you ever wanted and realize just how close you are to getting it, you can not go back.  Sure some will quit, 9 out of 10 brick and mortar businesses fail too. But those that catch the fire, the dream, the reality of just how possible it is will work as hard as it takes for as long as it takes to make it happen.

You know and have probably met leaders in your company or others that are making incredible amounts of money. The question is, if they can do it, why can’t you? I believe you can.  Maybe you need a different company. Maybe you need a service to sell instead of a product. There are many companies and options to choose from. Find what works for you.

Don’t give up and don’t quit. You can do it!

How to maximize PPC, Pay per Click

April 15th, 2010 by ToolGuy

Pay per Click or PPC is something anyone who owns a web site has thought about. But there things you need to know before you lay out your hard earned cash. Do your keyword research first. Use any free keyword checker. You can find it  by typing “keyword”  in a search engine. Then be specific. If you sell motorcycles try “sport bike ” or “chopper”. Then target your area. If your shop is in Miami, don’t pay for clicks out of that area.  PPC needs to be understood before you spend money. Google has a “Stupid Tax” for people who don’t do their homework. Mike Dillard’s PPC Domination course explains it very well. So does Dr. Bob Parsons, founder of GoDaddy. Here is his video on Pay Per Click.

Applied Knowledge is Power.

April 14th, 2010 by ToolGuy

Applied Knowledge is Power
by
Jeff CosgroveI trust that you are excited about your MLM opportunity.Remember, knowledge alone is not power. It’s applied knowledge that is power. You must not only read my messages, but apply the information in them.Matter of fact, by applying these same exact Success Principles that I’m sharing with you. My wife Shelly and I were able to go from being in over $100,000 worth of debt, and broke, with two good jobs, to earning a MLM Income most people dream about. That income allowed my wife and I both to retire from our jobs at age 41.

Did it all happen overnight? Not even close. But my choice to succeed happened in a mere moment.

Little did I know that my success was not going to be a payoff, but a process!

And in this process, this next principle couldn’t be more apparent.

This Principle is based on this sentence;

“Adversity does not just build character; it reveals it.”

How you handle yourself during challenge is one of the most important ingredients in the formula for success.

Remember, how you do anything is also how you do…everything!

The key then to big success is not to get attached to any one set of circumstances or conditions, good or bad, but to the process itself.

You see, you are going to have many ups and many downs while you are becoming successful.

You will experience the highs of success and the lows of what you may think is failure.

Peaks and Valleys, all the time. Ups, downs, wins, losses and in-betweens.

The key is to find the silver lining in every cloud; learn to make lemonade out of lemons and when you lose, DON’T LOSE THE LESSON!

The MOST important lesson, is that you understand that success is just one failure after another, day in and day out, learning from your mistakes and never losing sight of your goals.

If you want to make it to the top faster than ever, then DOUBLE your rate of failure.

YES! Failure is just as much a part of the equation as success, so the more you do it and learn from it, the more successful you are going to be.

By learning to discipline your disappointments and maintaining a consistent energy, win or lose, you will find that each experience will contribute to your overall wisdom, which in turn, will set you free over time and create the biggest successes of your life.

So, this Success Principle is this:

“Learn to Discipline Your Disappointments.”

It will make the journey more enjoyable, the ride much smoother and YOU much more successful.

Until next time,

To the top!

Why You Are Losing Customers

April 12th, 2010 by ToolGuy

If you want to recruit more people into your business you must do what works. Many distributors don’t realize that the most successful marketers focus on building lasting relationships with their prospects or customers. Rather than selling their products and services, they offer more.

It’s an important distinction, one that can literally make or break your network
business. The fact is people today are cynical. Rest assured, if a prospect hasn’t been victimized by MLM companies with little or no value and an over hyped, if not full blown lie about income and the product,
he has certainly heard the horror stories of the many thousands who
have. As a result, people are slow to trust work from home opportunities, and people
and brands they don’t feel they know.

Surprised? Don’t be. Think about the last time you considered buying
a product or service from a web site you weren’t previously aware of.
Sure, the product or service the web site offered looked good, but
you probably still questioned the legitimacy of the site, the quality of
that product or service, and whether you’d get a refund if you weren’t
satisfied. The same is true when showing your Network Marketing business to someone new. All those doubts would likely prompt you to do what 99% of
YOUR potential customers do. That is, say they will listen to your information and then put it on top of their refrigerator when they get home. If you want your prospect to follow through and listen to your third party information…

You must get your prospects to;

Know you…
Like you…
Respect you…
Trust you…

I’ll tell you how to do just that in the next article.

How do I approach successful business owners to become part of my network?

April 12th, 2010 by ToolGuy

How do I approach successful business owners to become part of my network?

Do you actually have something to offer? Have you listened to your prospect and found the connection? If your product or service can actually benefit him the approach is easy. “I think I have something that you can benefit from.” If your prospect is looking for the business end, (the making money part), it is the same thing. “I think I have something you can benefit from.” The difference is how you tailor what comes next.

If your product or service fits his needs the sale should be easy. State the benefits to him and ask for the sale. If it’s the opportunity you want to sell, then run him through your companies system just like everyone else. Business owners are my favorite prospect. They have the money, they are use to spending it to grow a business and they respect other’s opportunities. Be honest and offer your MLM. The best ‘No’s’ I have ever gotten are from huge business owners. Most of the time they say, “Thank you but this is not something I wish to peruse at this time.”  Go for it!
